ATP and K2 are teaming up to bring riders a one-of-a-kind event this Friday, January 16. The plan is to construct a small true tabletop where we can rig up a “Super Ollie” contest, where riders can use their takeoff pop skills to see who can get the highest off the table. In addition to the super ollie setup, the crew will also plan to build a flat takeoff to host ATP’s first Long Jump Contest! I mean, who hasn’t wondered how far through the night sky they can soar?! Select additional features will be out and about for a possible impromtu jam as well.
In honor of MLK Weekend, this event will be Gaper/Jerry themed, where side-jumping is encouraged, as are fanny packs, jeans, NFL Jackets and Flamboyant headwear! Bring your best gaper outfit and be ready for an awesome session!
Shout out to K2 for hooking standouts up with prizes, as always this event is FREE with purchase of a ski ticket and all abilities are encouraged to come and see who’s got pop!
Registration will be in the Alpine Ski Shop from 5-6:30, and the event is scheduled to begin at 7.
