The 9th Annual Shred for the Cup Series kicked off Sunday, January 4 with the Smith/Dakine Rail Jam.
Shout out to all the riders who came out despite the foggy, wet, less than inspiring weather in the morning! Over 60 skiers and snowboarders signed up and didn’t let the morning weather get in the way of some serious shredding. Everyone was throwing down, making judging especially difficult. After all was said and done, Julien Passajou took the win for Advanced Snowboard, and Kellan Baker landed in first for the Advanced Skiers.
A huge thanks to the sponsors who made this event possible! Smith Optics, Dakine, and Skullcandy for getting a great variety of prizes together for all categories. Mellow Mushroom for giving the SFTC series a huge upgrade with fresh pizza for all competitors – amazing!
