App Terrain Park couldn’t be happier to open up for riding tomorrow, Saturday, December 10. The crew has been at work today trying to be as resourceful as possible with what little snow is available to provide fun and versatile features from day one forward.
ATP plans to open the Appaljack Terrain Park, loaded with as many features as possible. A park pass will be required to enter the Appaljack Terrain Park from Day 1 on, so get on it if you haven’t already!
The Rome Pre-Jib will do down on opening day with registration from 11-1 and the event starting at 2pm. This will also be held in the Appaljack Terrain Park. The event is free to enter, and offers some great prizes courtesy of Rome Snowboards and Recess Ride Shop.
The SPY Super Session will be held on Sunday, December 11th in the Appaljack Terrain Park. This event is coming together nicely, and will kick off around Noon with a lil’ BBQ on the hill, followed by an open format jam session on some brand new features ATP will setup Saturday Night. To cap the day off, SPY Optics plans to host a “Snow Tube Race” down the hill – you will have to show up to see for yourself!
The weather looks peaceful and pleasant for the first weekend of ASM’s 50th Season – make plans to take advantage and shred with us tomorrow!
